The Nadi /Namaka Municipal Market is governed by the Local Government Act 1976. Daily operation is run by the Market Master. Market Location: Nadi Market is located at the Hospital Road

The Nadi Municipal Market caters to vendors, farmers and wholesalers from all regions of Vitilevu. The market has an exotic blend of fresh local and imported fruits, vegetables, spices and root crops, sweet sellers & selling fresh seafood and kai. The market also houses a Fishermen’s market where a wide variety of fish can be found. The Market is a “One Stop Shop” near the Supermarket, Bus Station, Taxi Stand and Carrier stand, people Can move freely as the Police Post is within the Market Space and the Market has CCTV

Namaka Market:  is situated nearby to Namaka Police station and the Pitch volleyball Court.

Vegetables – English Cabbage, Moca, Eggplant, Bele, Rourou, Ota, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Bora, Chilies, Oraka , Mint, Carrot, Capsicum, Cauliflower
Root crop – Dalo, Cassava, Kumala, Vudi
Dry Goods – Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Dry fish, Spies (all kinds) Eggs(only in Nadi Market)
Fruits – Apple, Water melon, Banana- Oranges and Pineapples
Seasonal fruits – Mangoes, Guavas, Mandarins
Cooked Food – Varieties of Seafood and Fijian Food
Sea Food – Variety of fish, Crab, lobster and Kai
Yaqona and Tobacco.
Broom, Door mat and Empty sack and Pot plants.

3. Casual Vendors (Farmers)

One of the most important because of it’s of its potential to empower our people economically.  Most of these farmers come to sell the crops they grow from all over the surrounding region.  From the highlands of Navosa right to highlands of Ba and Nadi surrounding areas

Most of those farmers come to sell on Fridays & Saturdays only at the New Wing Market and the Market Corridors.

5. Fish Market

Selling a wide range of fish, certain types of fish are not allowed to be sold in the market.  Nadi & Namaka Market

The Fiji Government has banned the harvest, sale, buying, possession or export of all species of Grouper (kawakawa) and Coral Trout (donu) during their peak spawning months, from the 1st of June through to the 30th of September, to help revive these rapidly declining fish species.

We have varieties of flower arrangement which you can check out at Namaka market with beautiful pot plants and cut flowers available at both of the Markets Nadi & Namaka.

7. Handicrafts

Nadi – Our Handicrafts is located on the side of the Nadi Civic Centre

Namaka – few ladies with displayed Wreath & Garlands beside the Florists.

Parking areas available at three places one is the market carpark which is cross the road from the Market, Bus stand carpark & at the arcade Carpark

Opening – 7.00am    Close – 5.00pm (in line with the Nadi market operational hours)

Namaka Market

9. Public Convenience

The Nadi/Namaka Market Public conveniences is open 24/7 free.

We only charge Nadi Market PC for 20cents every Saturdays.
