Key Attractions

Nadi has several international hotels ranging from 3 stars to 5 stars apart from 25 smaller motels/apartments. Hotels, Denarau Island, Visit beaches, Inland tours and boat rides to outer islands at Port Denarau, Shot over jet rides, Paradise balloons, Adrenalin Fiji, Helicopter rides, Sea planes, Water skiing, Parasailing and Snorkelling. A striking feature is the beautiful Sri Siva Subramaniya temple at the Southern end of town. A half an hour drive south will bring the visitor to Natadola beach, one of the outstanding beaches in Fiji.


Visitors to Nadi have many options for tours to villages, orchid gardens, cultural centres, cruises to islands and along rivers to remote villages where they will be treated to yaqona ceremony, traditional entertainment, a village meal and in some cases also have the opportunity to witness pottery being made in a time honoured way, visit an old fort site and take a road tour of the highlands.

Cruises on the world famous Blue Lagoons of the Yasawas are based at Lautoka. Denarau Island, featuring luxurious resorts and boasts a world-class championship golf course and a marina which is a base for scuba diving trips and for more than a dozen cruises and island excursions; a famous jetboat thrill-a-minute ride; a superb tennis facility; more than ten restaurants and a large beachfront with a full range of water sports including sailing, water skiing, parasailing, canoeing and windsurfing.


Nadi town is a popular shopping destination with jewellers, cameras, high fidelity audio equipment, clothes, handicrafts, artifacts, souvenir items, original artworks are among the many items on offer. Visit the Nadi Handicraft center if you are ready to try your hand on bargaining for handmade Fiji artifacts and handicrafts just located in town, although many hotels and resorts have shopping on site. The Nadi Market has a large variety of root crops, tropical fruits both locally and imported, from vegetables to seafood and spices.

It is a great place for visitors to buy and taste the islands multicultural flavour. The market is always busy on Fridays and Saturdays when people come out in numbers to buy the freshest and best fruits, vegetables and seafood. The market atmosphere is friendly as well as chaotic with people chatting as they bargain with the sellers for best prices.


Sporting Facilities

Nadi has two international standard golf courses i.e. The Denarau Golf and Racquet Club and the Airport Club Golf Course. There are several social sports clubs like Nadi Sports Club and the evergreen Prince Charles Park for more organized sporting events throughout the year.
